How to Unlock The Riposte
Unlocking the Riposte is simple but you need to work on your PvP matches. This is the only way to farm for the weapon, as you have to rank up your Crucible rank. The only way this can be done is by playing seven matches till you reach the required rank. You can then collect rank up packages from Lord Shaxx, and one of the rewards is The Riposte
PvP God Roll for The Riposte
- Barrel: Full Bore/ Arrowhead Brake
- Magazine: Ricochet Rounds/ High Caliber Rounds
- Stock: Composite Stock/ Fitted Stock/ Hand-Laid Stock
- Perk 1: Zen Moment/ Tap the Trigger
- Perk 2: Kill Clip
- Masterwork: Range/ Handling
- Mod: Targeting Adjustor
For a full range experience, use Full Bore coupled with the Ricochet or High Caliber Rounds for additional range. Or if recoil and handling is your thing, then Arrowhead Brake can help with that. The Composite Stock offers Stability and Handling, but Fitted and Hand Laid stocks offer extra stability only, but twice that of Composite Stock. Keep either Range or Handling Masterwork to fill up any gaps in this god roll
Zen Moment helps reduce recoil and flinch overtime, while Tap the Trigger increases Stability but reduces recoil. Kill Clip increases the damage output by applying a buff for 5 seconds. Targeting Adjustor increases Aim Assistance up to +5
PvE God Roll for The Riposte
- Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling/ Arrowhead Brake
- Magazine: Ricochet Rounds
- Stock: Composite Stock/ Hand Laid Stock
- Masterworks: Stability
- Perk 1: Zen Moment/ Repulsor Brace
- Perk 2: Destabilizing Rounds
- Mod: Backup Mag
Ricochet Rounds paired with the Corkscrew Rifling offers far better range, but you can go for Arrowhead Brake if you prefer recoil and handling control. Even if you decide to go for range, you can add extra stability and handling using the Composite Stock or Hand Laid Stock with the Stability Masterwork. The Zen Moment perk reduces recoil, while Repulsor Brace kills any Void debuffed enemies and grants a Void overshield. Destabilizing Rounds will cause nearby targets to become volatile.
