The Koinobori Flags are one of the many Photography Spots that you will come across as part of the Discover Japan challenges in Forza Horizon 6. In order to successfully complete the challenge, you will have to find the bright fish-like flags and take a picture of them through Photo Mode. The flags can be somewhat difficult to spot, especially if they only appear at certain times of the year. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find the Koinobori Flags and how to complete the photography challenge quickly.
How to Get the Koinobori Flags

To complete the Koinobori Fish Flags Photography Challenge in Forza Horizon 6, one of the easiest locations that you can visit is Mei’s House. The location of the house is located slightly north of Tokyo City. When you visit Mei’s House, you will notice that there are some fish flags hanging near the location.
There is one important aspect that you should take note of, which is that the fish flags seem to be associated with the Spring Season. If you visit the location during a different season and cannot locate the fish flags, you might have to wait for Spring.
Once you arrive at the marked location, look around the area, and you should spot the Naoshi mural nearby. When you are at the destination point, open Photo Mode and capture an image to fulfil the challenge. If you are playing via controllers, you need to use the Up button from the D-pad to access the camera. If you are playing via keyboard, then just hit the P button.
Remember to capture an image of the Naoshi Mural as well; otherwise, the challenge will not be completed because the game will not recognise the Naoshi Mural in the picture, and you cannot capture a picture of the place without the Naoshi Mural being there. Upon completion of this challenge, you will get the Playlist Points for this challenge. All Photography Spots that you complete will also give you some Discover Japan Points. These points allow you to unlock several rewards in the Discover Japan Journal.
