In the latest version of Genshin Impact 7.0, there are opportunities to acquire a complimentary skin for the Ice Cream Sword through certain activities in Snezhnaya. This cosmetic item can be utilized by characters who use Swords. To claim the skin, players will need to head over to the Village of Jack Frost, finish the connected world quest, and gather a specified number of Intricately Patterned Buttons.
Head to the Village of Jack Frost
The Jack Frost Village exists on the right side of the Snezhnaya Map. Unlocking most of the currently available Waypoints and Statues of the Seven before coming here would make it easier to explore the area. After getting to the village, you can either walk or teleport there using the Waypoint and continue moving until the cutscene starts.
Rescue the Trapped Jack Frost
After reaching Jack Frost, you can access the Eye of Graeae menu by clicking the button located at the bottom-right corner of the screen, positioned between your health bar and Elemental Skill. Click the Ice Cube option from the menu and place it on the left-side of the rock. This will lift the rock, releasing Jack Frost. After this, a cutscene will follow.
Find the Village Leader
Once the cutscene finishes, proceed to move further into the village. You will encounter a snowball which keeps moving back and forth on the top of an ice chunk. Enter into the Eye of Graeae menu to remove the ice chunk and this will bring up another cutscene which will introduce you to Slightly Huge Jack Frost.
Once you are done with the scene, converse with the Jack Frosts and you will be able to proceed with the World Quest Small Jack Frost: Big Problems.
Complete Small Jack Frost: Big Problems
Finish the Small Jack Frost: Big Problems World Quest and get your rewards, which includes Intricately Patterned Buttons you can use to buy the Ice Cream Sword Skin. You will need to collect enough of these Buttons in order to be able to use them for purchasing the Ice Cream Sword Skin
Collect 30 Buttons for the Skin
Once you complete the World Quest, go back to the Village of Jack Frost and talk to the village chief. Now, his store will be available for you to shop.
The Ice Cream Sword Skin can be purchased with 30 Intricately Patterned Buttons, which you can collect by assisting Jack Frosts across Version 7.0.
When you collect the necessary 30 Buttons, you can go back to the village chief and swap them for the Ice Cream Sword Skin. This is a cosmetic skin that is applicable to all swords, and upon equipping it, will turn your sword into a popsicle.
