Unlike the original game where finding the golden egg is a random chance, in the remake players have 2 certain locations where they will find the egg always.
- Near the lake
Once the boat is unlocked, players can explore the lake and reach the location marked on the map below. There, they will see some chickens wandering around, but they need to go all the way to the end. Behind a bush, they will discover the golden egg. (Shown above)
- Throne Room
A golden egg is hidden near the lake, but players who miss it can still get it later. In chapter 12, the throne room becomes accessible and contains a chest with the golden egg. To enter the throne room, players need a key that is located in another chest near the armoury room.
