The Crystalized Rod in Fisch is an excellent mid-game fishing tool that offers a well-rounded set of stats, particularly its high Lure Speed and Luck, which help you attract better fish quickly. While it doesn’t have a passive ability, making it less ideal for cash farming, it’s still a valuable rod for regular fishing. To obtain the Crystalized Rod, players need to journey to the Northern Expedition island, solve a puzzle with the help of a friend, and purchase the rod for 35,000 cash once the ice blocking it melts.

How to Get the Crystalized Rod

To get the Crystal Rod travel just beyond the second base camp on the Northern Expedition island in Fisch. To reach this newly added island, spawn your boat and head south of Harvesters Spike. Then, pass through the portal to arrive at the Northern Expedition island.

Once there, climb the mountain to reach the second base camp, where you will find the Avalanche Rod. Be sure to refill your oxygen tank and restore your temperature levels before continuing your journey. From the base camp, turn around and head straight ahead. Climb a few stairs and follow the snowy path to reach a snow-covered bridge.

The puzzle is located just across the bridge. The Crystal Rod is positioned at the center of two pedestals, completely frozen in ice. To solve this puzzle, you will need a friend to help. Have them stand on one pedestal during the daytime while you stand on the other. Both of you should equip a Glass Diamond, which can be found in freshwater bodies on the mountain.

When you hold the Diamond, a beam of light will strike it. Reflect this beam toward your friend and then finally toward the rod. The light will melt the ice, allowing you to purchase the rod. Once the ice is melted, the Crystal Rod becomes accessible to both of you, and it can be bought for 35,000 cash.
