To get some Sinistea Chips, you will need to defeat the Pokemon Sinistea. They are a retuning Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and when they are defeated they will drop the Sinistea Chip. You will be needing this item to make TMs, for one, so they are quite important.

Additionally, if you have the Violet version, you will need some Sinistea Chips to evolve Charcadet to Ceruledge. These items are not easy to find, but you will be able to see the habitat location for the Pokemon in the map below.

Sinistea is a Ghost Pokemon who lives among ruins and lives near towns and cities, according to the Pokedex. They live in a very limited area, and if you need the items you will need to invest some time into earning abilities to maximize your chances of finding them.

You will be able to find Sinistea in the ruins east of Alfornada. This is located in the western South Province (Area Six). You will not only need to know how to climb walls for this cause, but you also need the upgrade for increased jump height for Miraidon and Koraidon if you want to reach both the city of Alfornada and the ruins. This takes time as you need to defeat the Lurking Steel Titan near the city of Zapapico.

Once you spot some Sinistea, you will find that they are at least level 38-41. Make sure to have some Dark Type or Ghost Type Pokemon to make quick work of them.  Defeating them will get you about one to three Sinistea Chips.
