If you wish to add a peculiar twist to your existing Echo, then you can locate Phantom Echos and defeat them to claim the shiny skins. Phantom Echoes serve no other purpose besides cosmetic elegance. Below are some ways to get them
Purchase from store
The easiest way to claim Phantom Echoes is by purchasing it from the store. The Illusive store within the Depths of Illusive Realm oftentime sells Phantom Echoes. You can also check the Adversity Exchange tabs of the Point Shop, or the Drill Store. But these will require Hazard Records or Data Sets as a token of purchase.
Search Echo Locations
If you check your map, various Echoes will be marked on it. You can visit these locations to check whether a Phantom Echo has spawned there or not. If not, you can wait for reset time and visit the location again. If waiting isn’t your cup of tea, then you can try joining another player’s world and check their demographic to locate phantom echoes
