When you start playing Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, you’ll want to focus on collecting Armoury Data. You can use this unique currency to get better weapons for PvE missions. This guide will tell you how to earn Armoury Data and what weapons you should buy first.
How to Get Armory Data in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2
You can get Armoury Data in three ways:
- Playing Operation missions: The more complex the mission, the better the Armoury Data you’ll get.
- Finding Hidden Servo-skulls: These are secret collectibles in missions.
- Completing Class Trials: These are unique challenges for each class.
Most of your Armoury Data will come from playing Operation missions. The tougher the mission the more rarer Armoury Data you can find. Particularly in the higher levels, you have a chance to find bosses who drop Armoury Data, since finding them around the map can be rarer.
In addition to the primary mission, each Operation has secret areas with Servo-skulls. Finding and interacting with these will give you extra Armoury Data. If you’re new to multiplayer, you can get Armoury Data by completing Class Trials. These are a bit like training sessions on how to play your chosen character. You will find them in the Armoury Hall on the Battle Barge. Each class has three Trials, and you’ll get Armoury Data (green quality) from completing them. That is a pretty quick way to get 18 Armoury Data.
Armoury Data comes in three colors: green, purple, and orange. The color tells you how good it is. Green is the weakest, and orange is the strongest. It would be best to play the game on harder difficulty levels to get purple or orange Armory Data.

Can Armory Data be Farmed in Space Marine 2?
There are fixed spawn rates for each Armory Data type, so you will get the required amount of either the Green, Purple, or Orange rarities for all weapons in the game. You cannot farm extra Data but you can upgrade all of your melee, and ranged weapons in the game.
How to Use Armory Data in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2
Armoury Data is used to buy better weapons for Operations in Space Marine 2. Weapons come in four types:
- Standard: You get these by default.
- Master-Crafted: You need Armoury Data (green) to buy these.
- Artificer: You need Armoury Data (purple) to buy these.
- Relic: You need Armoury Data (orange) to buy these.
To buy Master-Crafted weapons, you must first play a lot with Standard weapons and get good at them. Once you do that, you can spend Armoury Data to unlock Master-Crafted weapons.
After that, you can buy any weapon in that category using Requisition Points, which you earn in Operations.
