Towards the end of this quest line, you will receive Dyadic Prism. Take the prism to the Sacrarium and interact with the statue here to unlock the Ergo Sum. Subsequently, you can unlock copies of this weapon with different rolls by completing the Overthrows and the tier 5 Pale Heart Pathfinders each week.
PvE God Roll for Ergo Sum
- Blade: Jagged Edge/ Tempered Edge
- Guard: Swordmaster’s Guard
- Frame: Aggressive Frame/ Wave Sword Frame/ Caster Frame
- Exotic Perk: Wolfpack Rounds/ The Perfect Fifth
- Origin Trait: Transcendent Duelist
Dealing melee damage while in PvE can be difficult, but the above roll makes it possible to land damage after damage. You can pick between Wolfpack Rounds and The Perfect Fifth, as each offers unique damage. If you prefer rockets, Wolfpack Rounds is the way to go. But if you deal with a lot of Solar weakness enemies, then The Perfect Fifth offers light damage for free.
Both blade edges offer max damage per swing, so you can go for either. Both complement Swordmaster’s Guard, hence why either will work. All of the above frames also enhance the damage output, with Wave Sword creating a shockwave and Caster Frame launches projectiles. Transcendent Duelist works well with the new Prismatic subclass, so keep this on the Ergo Sum to deal Transcendent damage
PvP God Roll for Ergo Sum
- Blade: Jagged Edge/ Tempered Edge
- Guard: Swordmaster’s Guard/ Burst Guard
- Frame: Wave Sword Frame/ Caster Frame
- Exotic Perk: Sacred Flame/ Wolfpack Rounds
- Origin Trait: Transcendent Duelist
Most of the roll attributes carry over to PvP too. This weapon isn’t too versatile no matter which mode you use it in, so you can complete the roll with the same perks and enhancements as the PvE roll
