In your adventure in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll unlock different powers and upgrades while trying to save Hyrule from mysterious rifts. One of these abilities is called Swordfight form, where you take on the role of Link and wield a sword. You can’t use the Swordfighter form indefinitely; it has a limited amount of energy before it runs out, and you’ll need to gather more to activate it again. Since the energy is limited, you’ll want to use it wisely. There are ways to find energy sources, like renewing your Swordfighter form, which you may need for solving certain puzzles. Here’s what you need to know about replenishing energy for the Swordfighter form in Echoes of Wisdom.

Where to get Swordfighter Energy

You can find your first pieces of Swordfighter energy while exploring the Suthorn Ruins, where you battled Link and unlocked the Swordfighter form. These energy pieces appear as floating runes that you can collect when your Swordfighter energy is low. You can check your Swordfighter energy bar in the top left corner of your screen and activate the form by pressing up on the D-pad. If you’re near Swordfighter energy, it will automatically come to you and increase your total. Like other items in Echoes of Wisdom, you don’t need to press anything to pick it up; just getting close is enough. Since Swordfighter energy can sometimes be in tricky spots, you only need to approach it to collect it.

You’ll typically find Swordfighter energy symbols in places where you’re likely to use the Swordfighter form, like dungeons and puzzle areas throughout Echoes of Wisdom. A clear sign that you can find Swordfighter energy nearby is when you see large dark webs blocking your path or an area. You can cut through these webs using the Swordfighter’s sword. You can expect to encounter these obstacles throughout your time playing Echoes of Wisdom. Fortunately, Swordfighter energy has a noticeable blue glow that makes it easier to spot. If you think you see some, try standing still for a moment. The energy will slowly float around its area, and it might even be partially hidden inside a wall when you first look at it. Give it a few seconds to move, and it should reveal its location to you.

How to Restore Energy

Defeating enemies and collecting energy found in the Still World will refill your Swordfighter Gauge. Since the gauge doesn’t regenerate normally in Hyrule, it’s best to use the Swordfighter Form sparingly when you’re outside the Still World.
