It’s used for crafting better tools, gear, and other useful items that make exploration much easier. At first, finding and using copper might feel a bit confusing, especially once the starting island runs out. But once you know where to look and how the process works, gathering and crafting with copper becomes easier. In this guide, we will tell you how to get copper in Windrose.

How to Get Copper

Copper Ore is a raw resource that is necessary to make Copper Ingots in Windrose. The best location to look for it is the Coastal Jungle. You will find various copper deposits during exploration. The cave becomes quite dark after entering it; therefore, it is recommended that you bring a source of light along with you. You may equip an Oil Lamp for lighting purposes, or you could simply take plenty of wood for placing floor torches along the way.

Mining of Copper Ore is quite straightforward. All you have to do is equip yourself with a Stone Pickaxe and strike the copper nodes that you come across in the process. Repeat the same action several times, and the node will break into smaller pieces. This will provide you with Copper Ore.

How to Make Copper Ingots

Copper Ingots are an important crafting material in Windrose, mainly used for making better tools and armour. To get them, you’ll need to smelt Copper Ore using a Smelting Furnace.

Once you have the furnace ready, just add 4 Copper Ore along with 1 Charcoal and start the process. It takes about 30 seconds to complete, and when it’s done, you’ll get a Copper Ingot that you can use for crafting stronger gear and upgrades.
