Bellanoir is among the most challenging and rewarding Raid Bosses that you can fight in Palworld 1.0. Unlike other Pals, it is not found while exploring the world. Rather, you have to unlock the raid, summon the creature using special Slabs, and fight it to earn a chance at hatching your own Bellanoir. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to summon Bellanoir, the best strategy to beat the raid, recommended Pals and gear, all the rewards you can get, and how to breed Bellanoir once you’ve added it to your collection.
Bellanoir in Palworld 1.0
Bellanoir’s Partner Skill, Nightmare Iris, lets it unleash a powerful Nightmare Ray at the enemy when you activate the skill, making it a strong choice for combat. Apart from its abilities in battling, another important characteristic of Bellanoir is the fact that it is one of the best Pals to keep in your base. Due to the level 5 Handiwork skill of Bellanoir, it can construct structures and produce objects at a very fast speed. Being a Pal with the level 5 Medicine Production skill, it can produce medicines and other consumable items at the Medicine Workbenches.
How to Summon Bellanoir
First, build the Pal Expedition Station, which is unlocked when you reach Technology Level 22. You will also have to build the Summoning Altar, as both buildings are needed in order to get this Bellanoir. After building the Expedition Station, several expedition sites will become available to you. To access each site, you have to beat the respective Tower Boss. Each expedition provides different rewards. In the Volcanic biome, you have a chance to get either the main version of this creature or one of its alternate forms as a reward.
Before going on an expedition, assign Pals for each particular biome. For the Volcanic expedition, you should select Fire-type Pals with a total Firepower of 144,000. The Auto Assign function can help you build the team faster. The more powerful and star-filled the Pals are, the easier it will be to fulfil the Firepower requirement.

After completion of the expedition, claim your rewards. There is a particular piece that you have to search for. After collecting 4 pieces, you can prepare the summoning tablet for summoning the boss. The unlock level of this recipe is Technology Level 45. Now go to the Summoning Altar and choose the raid area.
Bellanoir Raid Boss Difficulty
There are three versions of Bellanoir:
- Bellanoir – Level 30 and the easiest version.
- Bellanoir Libero – Level 50 and much stronger.
- Bellanoir Libero Ultra – The hardest version in the game.
In order for you to get the Ultra version, you will have to beat Bellanoir Libero many times. Bellanoir has the possibility of dropping the Ultra Slab Fragment, and once you gather four of those fragments, you will be able to craft the Ultra Slab.
Bellanoir Raid Boss Strategy
Once the fight starts, immediately summon the best Pal that you have in your Palbox. Bellanoir has about 294,000 HP at Level 30; hence, it is advised that you use your strongest Alpha Pals to help you in defeating him. Similar to tower boss fights, you will have 10 minutes to beat the boss.
Best Gear
Before you start this battle, please ensure that you are well-equipped for this fight. It is preferable if you are at least Level 45 to increase your chances of survival in this battle. You will need a Hyper Shield because it is one of the most effective shields available. You should also use Pal Metal Armour to protect yourself because it is a good defensive armour set, along with your helmet. If possible, you can use a Pal Metal Helm.
Best Pals to Use Against Balinor
Balinor is a Dark type of Pal, and therefore it is vulnerable to Ice, Dragon, and Fire types. Using your team composed of such elements makes the battle quite easy. Some of the best Pals to consider include:
- Foxcicle – A great early-game Ice Pal that’s easy to catch.
- Celesdir (or another strong Ice Pal) – One of the best choices for this raid if you have it.
- Frostallion – An excellent late-game Ice Pal that deals serious damage.
- Jormuntide Ignis – One of the strongest options because it can use both Dragon and Fire attacks, which are both effective against Balinor.
Even if you don’t have the stronger Pals, building up your team with a number of Foxcicles is a good option. Many players bring the right Pals but forget to check their active skills. There are some Ice Pals whose skills are related to Dark damage, and these skills are not effective when fighting against Bellanoir. Before the raid begins, go to each Pal’s skills list and change all such attacks with Ice-type skills. This should be done for Dragon or Fire Pals as well.
Before starting the battle, give your best Pals Eikthyrdeer Loco Moco to boost their damage to 20%. This way, your Pals will defeat Bellanoir faster. Feed this food to Jormuntide Ignis and Frostallion, or to your best damaging Pals if you do not have them.
Best Weapons to Use
Even though the Pals do all the hard work for you, you can contribute by equipping yourself with the right weapon. The Rocket Launcher is a really good choice since it does a lot of damage in one shot. You should have about 20 to 25 rockets, which would be sufficient for the battle. Another good option is the Assault Rifle.
How to Beat Bellanoir
The raid battle of Bellanoir occurs at your base, and hence, the Pals stationed at your base can participate in the battle. Before summoning Bellanoir, you should make sure that your base contains your best Dragon-type Pals by using your Palbox.
The raid boss might destroy your base by causing a lot of damage. Your Pals who happen to be working at the time might also be knocked out, and buildings can get destroyed due to the raid boss. Because of this, it’s best to build the Summoning Altar in a separate stone arena or an empty base that you don’t mind getting damaged. Bring your 15 strongest Pals, as this is a challenging boss fight.

- A special Egg that hatches into Balinor, letting you add her to your Pal collection
Place the egg in any Egg Incubator, wait for it to hatch, and you’ll finally get Bellanoir. Unlike most Pals, Bellanoir doesn’t appear anywhere in the wild. The only way to obtain it is by summoning and defeating its raid boss, then hatching the egg it drops. You will also not be able to capture it with the spheres.
How to Breed Bellanoir
There is another method to get Bellanoir. You just need to breed the parents in the Breeding Farm to create the egg. The next step is to incubate the egg using the Egg Incubator until the egg hatches. When breeding for Bellanoir, there are two methods of breeding. The first one is to breed Bellanoir and another Bellanoir to give a Bellanoir egg. Another one is to breed Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero.
