The Bastard Sword is a very powerful weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies’ Citadelle Des Morts. To unlock it, you need to follow some steps and complete specific challenges for the different upgrades: the Solais, Caliburn, Balmung, and Durendal. Each sword has special abilities and can significantly boost your zombie-slaying prowess.
How to Get the Bastard Sword in Citadelle Des Morts
To get the Bastard Sword in Black Ops 6 Zombies, start a game in Citadelle des Morts. Follow the orange markers to the Lion Canon and fire it. This will create an opening. Next, follow the markers to the Oubliette Room in the Dungeons. Find a blue box and shoot the locks to open it. A Doppelghast zombie will appear. Kill it and take the Blood Aetherium crystal. Place the crystal on the red portal in the box to activate the Pack-a-Punch machine. To reach the Dining Hall, play until Round 8. Go to the area with four Knight statues.
Kill all the zombies you see until a Helmet Zombie appears. This zombie is tough because it’s wearing a helmet, so you can’t kill it with headshots. Aim for its body instead. Once you kill the Helmet Zombie, it will drop a stamp. Take the stamp and give it to one of the four Knight statues. Doing this will give you the Bastard Sword.
How to Get the Solais: Bastard Sword in Citadelle Des Morts
Bring the Bastard Sword to the lion statue in the Dining Hall. Use the sword to attack a glowing Parasite zombie to charge it up. Then, go to the Speed Cola area and use the charged sword to knock on the lion door. Repeat this three more times to open the door. Once inside, shoot the symbols on the wall based on the symbols on the podium. After doing this, you’ll get the Solais sword.
How to Get the Caliburn: Bastard Sword in Citadelle Des Morts
After you get the Bastard Sword, three cauldrons will light up around the map. Take the dragon fire from the first cauldron, which is near the cannon you used to open the castle, and bring it back to the dragon statue. Do the same for the second cauldron, located near the left exit of the Town Square. Finally, take the fire from the third cauldron, also in the Town Square, and bring it back to the statue. Once you’ve done this, you’ll get the Caliburn wonder weapon.
How to Get the Balmung: Bastard Sword in Citadelle Des Morts
To get the Balmung sword, go to the Alchemy Room in the Dining Hall. Once you get the sword, you’ll also get an item called Antiquity. Head to the basement of the Tavern and place the Antiquity item on the wall device. Then, put the Balmung sword in the hole. You’ll need to match symbols, these symbols changes every time for each players.
When you match them correctly, a dark aether portal will appear. Balls will start showing up. Pull these balls over the portal until it closes and moves. You’ll find the first portal in the Tavern basement, the second on the ground floor, and the last near the pool table on the top floor. After closing all three portals, return to the symbol matching device and interact with it to get your upgraded Balmung sword.
How to Get the Durendal: Bastard Sword in Citadelle Des Morts
To get the Durendal sword, you’ll need three Lightning Rods. Find the first one near the Speed Cola machine by shooting an electrical box. The second one is to the left of the Deadshot Daiquiri machine. The last one drops from a zombie. Place all three rods in the vase near the castle entrance.
Next, equip the Bastard Sword and interact with the vase to start a storm. While in the storm, charge your sword by melee attacking. Do this three times. After the third charge, interact with the vase to get the Durendal sword.
