Who Are Damned Followers and How to Get Them Back?
In Cult of the Lamb, the basic story is based on the followers, but some followers tend to go a different way and not follow the path of righteousness anymore. This only happens when one of your followers does too many sinful activities. Though the path succumbs to darkness, redemption is not impossible. You can get them back.
Before knowing the ways to get them back, let us first check how they become damned followers. Like too many new things, the Sins of the Flesh update has brought a few activities that increase the sin of your followers. These activities include getting befuddled one too many times at the Drinkhouse. You can easily identify damned followers by their eyes. They will suddenly start floating with red eyes. As soon as you notice, start the redemption process, otherwise, they will eventually leave the cult.
To begin with the process, first, you need to initiate a Crusade. In that crusade, defeat the followers three times during the same raid. Basically, you must kill them and after they die for the third time, these followers will leave bones and follower meat. Once this process ends, get back to your camp and start the resurrection process.
For that, you have to enter your Temple and start the Ritual of Resurrection. However, this ritual requires 75 bones and 10 Faith from your followers. While performing the process, you will get the option to select the followers you have killed. Select them and bring them back to life, without any sin. They will get back to their old pure souls.
