Schedule 1 has a cinematic starting as your low-key drug business with your Uncle gets busted by the cops. You escape to a new town in the dead of night as the red and blue lights flash behind you. With your uncle behind the bars and all of your things getting scrapped, you start from scratch.

Working hard to expand your drug empire across the streets of Hyland Point and earning a reputation for yourself in the criminal underworld. The early game requires you to travel from one street to another on foot, delivering orders to the customers. However, there is another way of traversing around that can be bought if you have enough funds: the Skateboard.

How to Unlock a Skateboard?

There is a shop located on the street opposite the Arcade, beside Bud’s Bar. Shred Shack is a small container that has been converted into a store and sells skateboards. There is a wide range of boards to choose from, varying from affordable to really expensive. The higher a skateboard costs, the better performance you’ll get out of it.

List of All the Skateboards in Schedule 1

There are five skateboards in the game currently, which are mentioned below according to their price:

  • Cheap Skateboard ($75)
  • Skateboard ($250)
  • Lightweight Skateboard ($500)
  • Cruiser ($500)
  • Golden Skateboard ($1,500)

Despite the difference in price tag, most of these boards will feel the same to ride on. However, the Lightweight Skateboard and Cruiser are faster than the regular ones. The Golden Skateboard is the fastest among them all. While there isn’t much of a difference among these boards, you can definitely roll with style and charisma with some of the expensive ones. Buying the Golden Skateboard gets you the “Rolling in Style” achievement.

How to Use a Skateboard in Schedule 1?

How to Use a Skateboard in Schedule 1

Using the Skateboard is as easy as using anything else in the game. Once the board is equipped, you can left-click on the mouse to start riding. The movement of the board follows the general rule, WASD keys on the keyboard, and you can tap the Spacebar to jump over obstacles in your way. You can keep speeding up with the W key, but letting go of the button will slow you down instantly.

There are certain places where the board can’t travel, such as pavements or any other terrain. Riding it over wood or any surface that isn’t smooth will slow you down drastically. The skateboard is best to use on smooth roads.

You can cancel the Skateboard by clicking the left mouse button again, which will stop your momentum too. Slowing down while taking corners is advised as it will help you not to hit pavements. Jumping across rugged surfaces will improve your traveling time.
Skateboards are not the most convenient method of moving around, but they are definitely faster than travelling from street to street on foot and delivering orders. Once you’re deep into Schedule 1 and your business gets traction, you’ll be flooded with orders. It’ll be necessary to save time, which makes these boards a viable mode of transport in the late game.
