All you need to know about the Nether Portal in the world of Minecraft Dungeons.
Minecraft Dungeons is almost a week old and players have already completed their first round of the campaign. But, there is much more to the game after you defeat the evil boss the Arch Illager. It’s about discovering the intricacies of the blocky world that has hidden wonders from the secret levels to unknown paths. Thankfully, this is not yet the end of the game, developers would soon be releasing DLC updates with new areas and challenges. So, there is a lot to look forward in the game. But, what is the Nether Portal you keep hearing about. In this guide, we will show you how to find the Nether Portal in Minecraft Dungeons and everything you should know about it.
Where to Find the Nether Portal in Minecraft Dungeons
Now, if you have just jumped into the game and still to defeat the Arch Illager, you will not be able to access the Nether Portal. To find and access the area, you must complete the game at least once at the default difficulty. It means completing all the ten main levels – Squid Coast, Creeper Woods, Soggy Swamp, Redstone Mines, Cacti Canyon, Pumpkin Pastures, and others even when you do not complete the secret levels.
Once you have defeated the Arch Illager, return to the Camp area. Open the map and head north-east near your house, you will find some launch pads. Place yourself on them and it will propel you to the other side of the cliff.
Follow the path and you will arrive at the Nether Portal. It looks like the featured image of this post.
Functions of the Nether Portal
Currently, the Nether Portal does not do anything. It’s not intractable. However, we are guessing its part of the future update in the game. As you walk closer to the portal, you can hear some Nether omens. Besides that, the portal does not do much and you cannot go to the Nether like in the original game.
However, going to it once will not be futile as we know that the game will receive two separate DLC updates and the Nether Portal could be central.
If you observe the hero image of the post, you will see the portal is missing one block, which may be intentional and perhaps obtaining the block will be part of the DLC update. So, hold your horses until and update and meanwhile check out the Nether Portal for yourself.
That’s all we have in this guide, we hope you know how to find the Nether Portal in Minecraft Dungeons.
