No one wants to spend time travelling large distances in a game just to revisit a location they already went past. Fortunately, Persona 5 Strikers also has the option to fast travel between various points in the world. You can teleport to any destination you have visited in the main world or in the Jails, given you have interacted with the checkpoints. How to Fast Travel in Persona 5 Strikers
There is nothing complicated about fast travelling in Persona 5 Strikers, you just have to open the map, select the destination to go, and after a quick loading screen you’ll be teleported to the location, but there are certain things you need to ensure.
Fast travel does not work the same in both the world. There is a slight distinction. When in the real world, click on the Plus button on the Switch or the Touchpad on the PS4 and this will bring up the map with multiple location in the city where you can fast travel to.
Us the analogue stick to select the area you want to fast travel to and then, it’s the A button on Switch and X for PS4 to initiate the teleportation to the location. There will be a small loading screen after which you will find yourself in the location.
In the Jails however, you can only fast travel to checkpoints that you have already activated. As you explore the Jails, you will come across several checkpoints. They usually appear after you have made some notable progress or solved sole puzzle. You need to interact with the checkpoints to activate them. Once activated, you can travel back to them any time you want. When you open the Jails map, you will be able to see the checkpoints you have activated in green and those are the checkpoints you can fast travel to.
After progressing in the Jails and having activated some checkpoints, you can use the fast travel. Just brings up the Checkpoint menu and select “Go to Other Checkpoint”, choose the checkpoint and select it to go there.
