Many players have noticed that as they progress through the game and reach higher levels, they will have a hard time finding clay. Clay becomes a rare resource, as you start getting other resources that are closer to your level. There are two tips you can try to start finding clay. The first tip is to start a new realm. In this new realm, monsters will be weaker and the resource level you will come across will be reset. Meaning you can find lower level resources like clay far more easily. Even if your character level is the same, you can explore the new realm, collect the clay from dig sites, then deposit them in the Rookery in your main realm.
Another way you can try to farm free clay if the above method doesn’t work is to start a new character. This character will start at level 1, so you will find resources that are closer to your level. You can then explore your main realm or a new realm to find clay. But it is best to start a new realm and farm as much clay as possible just before you reach the first boss of the game.
