How to Farm Crops in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)?

Players will need to follow these steps in order to start their real farming in the game: 

  1. Players first need to complete the school’s side quest 
  2. After that, players need to go to the field just around the school and talk to Uma
  1. Players then need to tell Uma that they want to grow their crops and give him the required seeds. 
  2. After giving the required material to Uma, players need to wait 2 in-game days for the crop to grow 
  3. After that, come back to the village and talk to Uma. 
  4. He will then give you the grown crops. 

NOTE: players need to Teleport away from the village otherwise the crops won’t grow. 

In order to complete the School side quest, players simply need to follow these steps: 

  1. Players need to arrive at the school at 12:pm 
  2. After that go and speak to the teacher 
  3. Then complete all the quests given by the teacher. 

The name of the school is Hateno Village School and is located in the Hateno Village near the Zelkoa Pond. Here are the recommended crops, players can grow: 

  1. Endura Carrot 
  2. Hearty Radish 
  3. Wildberry 
  4. Hylian Tomato
