To start dismantling items, make your way to the Blacksmith at your camp. Click on Heirloom on top of the camp menu and you will be taken to the Blacksmith. You will get into the dismantle menu, where you just have to press the red button that has a hammer icon on it. This will start the dismantling process and you will notice that your cursor is now a hammer. Next, just select which gear you wish to dismantle and they will be turned into scrap.

To dismantle gear by rarity, you can check all the items in your inventory that are color coded. You will find items without color, then moving on to green, then blue, and finally purple. Purple tier gear is the highest tier or Epic gear, while gray or no color gear is the lowest tier or Common gear. Dismantling a gear in any tier will give you Ores or Fragments. You have to dismantle the same colored or Tier gear to get the respective materials. Below are all the materials you can get for dismantling a certain tier gear

  • Common Gear (Gray) – Rough White Iron 
  • Uncommon Gear (Green) – Ilmenite Ore
  • Magic Gear (Blue) – Refined Steel Ore 
  • Epic Gear (Purple) – Star Fragment
