Your enemies consist of other players who are also vampires and you need to take them down with your weapons, such as melee or a ranged attack. Once they’re on the floor, you will need to stop shooting or hitting and simply walk over to them. Interact with the body on the floor that is trying to recover and pick itself back up, and this will speed up the process of killing the player, which is known as the act of Diablerise.
Diablerise will kill a player quicker than if you were to hit them or leave them to die on their own. It is essentially cannibalism, so it’s a dark thing to get your head around—because you’ll be eating the heart of another vampire and stealing their soul into your own body. It does make you stronger, so that’s a plus.
This is considered to be the final death of a vampire as its soul is absorbed by another being, and there is simply no coming back to life. As vampires are already dead, they simply cease to exist, completely.
