Locating the Filament Salvages
In Marathon, if you want to complete the contract that requires you to find filament salvage and deliver it to DCON, you’ll need to start from the Dire Marsh map. Your task is to get up to eight filament salvages for this. But finding the correct number of filament salvages depends on the rarity of the Plasma Filament you’re able to find. The green Plasma Filament counts for two filament salvages while the purple ones count for four. There are the common ones, too, that account for only one.
On the Dire Marsh map, you’ll need to go to the AI Uplink area. A good place to look for Plasma Filaments is within the Bioprinters found in the area. You’ll find numerous buildings in the area; go inside them, and if luck is on your side, you’ll find a Plasma Filament. There’s no fixed location for finding them, but locating a Bioprinter is your best bet.
Find & Deliver the Filament Salvages to the DCON
This might take time, but you’ll need to loot many boxes and look at countertops in order to get Plasma Filaments, which give you filament salvages. Once you’ve acquired enough of them, you’ll need to locate the nearest DCON station on the map.
