In Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, in the Forge World of Avarax, you will be confronted by a dangerous enemy in the form of Carnifex, a colossal beast as big as a small building and one of the most fearsome creatures in the whole game. If you don’t know how to take it down, it will kill you with just one slash. It will be a pretty tough battle, but if played right, you can defeat the monster.
What is a Carnifex
The Carnifex is a powerful monster that the Tyranids use to attack their enemies. It’s like a giant, walking tank that can break through even the most robust defenses.
The Carnifex charges at you headfirst to attack, and it is very powerful. You can see its attacks coming, so if you time them right, you can dodge them. It’s dangerous to get too close to the Carnifex and try to fight it up close.
The Carnifex can also shoot at you from a distance using its spines. But these attacks are weaker, and you can see them coming.
How to defeat Carnifex
To beat the Carnifex, you need to stay far away from it. When you see it, get ready to attack and quickly move away. It will attack again, so be prepared to dodge again. It’s best to use guns to attack it from a distance while your friends distract it from other sides.
Frag and Krak Grenades are good weapons against the Carnifex because you can throw them afar. You’ll need to use whatever grenades you have at the start of the fight and pick up any more you find. There aren’t many grenades around, but you can find some.
The smaller Tyranids will join the fight when you chip away at Carnifex’s health. They’re pretty annoying, but you can use them to your advantage in order to regain some of your lost health. Try to block them to get some armor back and defend against the boss.
When the Carnifex is almost dead, it will attack you with everything it has. You need to be ready for its attacks and keep fighting back with your guns. This is the hardest part of the fight, so be careful.
You can finish it off quickly when you’ve hurt the Carnifex enough. Once you’ve defeated it, you can continue the mission and find the information you sought.
