Dredge is one of the latest fishing adventure horror games released a few days back and earned considerable popularity. If you have been playing the game, you are probably aware that this game has a few pursuits to complete, and Recording Rarities is one of them. If you get stuck while finding the items required to complete the Pursuit in Dredge, this guide will help you with it.
Guide to Complete Recording Rarities in Dredge- How to Do?
Like other games, Dredge also has several side quests to complete, and Recording Rarities is one of the side quests players need to complete. The Traveling Merchant gives players this quest that requires them to find certain fish from the sea. The fish you need to look for are-
- Gulper Eel
- Coelacanth
- Oarfish
- Goliath Tigerfish
These four fish players must catch to complete the quest, and none of them can be caught easily. They are found on four sides of the map. Below we have discussed the location in detail-
Gulper Eel
Before proceeding further, let me tell you Gulper Eel can only be caught with Hadal Rod, and if you are unsure of how to do it, check out our guide for information-How to Unlock Abyssal and Hadal Fishing in Dredge. Gulper Eel is one of the easiest among these fish to catch. Players can find it in the Steller Basin area, located on the southwest side of the map. Travel to the trench near the Outpost on the northwest side of the map, and you’ll find the Gulper Eel there. We have marked the location on the map-
Coelacanth
Coelacanth is not challenging to catch if you know the exact location to look for it. Players can find it in the northeast part of the map- Devil’s Spine. The location of the fish is marked on the map below-
However, there’s a twist that you need to blast off the rocks preventing you from accessing the location. Once the way is clear, players can easily get Coelacanth with an Abyssal rod.
Oarfish
To catch Oarfish in Dredge, players must travel to Gale Cliffs, located in the southeast section of the map. This fish is one of the trickiest fish to find and can be tracked down behind a Waterfall. We have marked the location on below map-
As you pass through the Waterfall, there’s a location where you can try catching the fish. But remember, you need Abyssal Rod to catch it.
Goliath Tigerfish
Finally, the Goliath Tigerfish will be found on the northwest side of the map- Twisted Strand. This location is full of turns and bends. However, the location to catch the fish will be marked on the map below-
Remember, without a Mangrove Fishing Rod, you can’t catch Goliath Tigerfish.
That’s all you need to know about how to complete Recording Rarities in Dredge.
