While roaming around the Paldea region in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players encounter different Pokemon- some of them will seem familiar, while the others are new to the games. Rolycoly is a Pokemon that players have not found before in any other games. If you are a newcomer to the Pokemon Series, every Pokemon is new to you, whereas the Veterans will be more interested in capturing the newly introduced Pokemon. However, old or new, every Pokemon you get will help you with your Pokedex collection.

Rolycoly is a small rock-type Pokemon that debuted in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. If you go through the Habitat description, it clearly says that Rolycoly can only be found in the East Province (Area Three). Below we have marked the area players need to visit to find Rolycoly-

Though this Pokemon can’t be found scattered in the Paldea Region, you can find several of them in this particular area. It is a small black rock-like Pokemon that roams around the area.

Once you spot a Rolycoly, you can defeat or capture it. If you already have a Rolycoly in your team, you can defeat it to get Rolycoly Coal; otherwise, you can capture it if you want it to your party. Rolycoly Coal can be collected by defeating or capturing Rolycoly. Every time you defeat or capture a Rolycoly, you automatically get three Rolycoly Coal.
