If you want to catch all the Pokemon the game has to offer, make sure to follow our guide for Finneon, which is one of the Pokemon that you will encounter in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Finneon is a Water Type Pokemon which looks like a fish, and you will be able to find it only in a specific region of the map.
Finneon can be found only in the location for it marked out on the Pokedex in yellow, which is the western side of Paldea. It can only be found in the water, so keep an eye out for the waterbodies here. If you are having trouble you can try looking around Port Marinada, where you are most likely to find Finneon.
It stays underwater during the night time, so you will need to go hunting for it in the day. Approach the Pokemon and begin the battle in order to capture it. You can use Electric and Grass Type Pokemon to defeat the Finneon quickly, but be mindful of its low health. After you have caught Finneon, you can get it to evolve into Lumineon at level 31.
