Yae Miko is one of the upcoming reruns in Version 3.2. Her banner is alongside Childe in the second phase of Version 3.2 and many players are excited to pull for her due to her boost in value in the Dendro meta. Yae Miko was a decent and powerful sub-dps before Sumeru, but with the release of Dendro, her value has skyrocketed due to how well she fits into the Dendro meta. This article will discuss the best way to build her in the Dendro meta.

Yae Miko’s Build in the Dendro Meta of Genshin Impact 3.2

Yae Miko doesn’t need different builds for Aggravate or Hyperbloom. Her place in the Dendro meta is solidified by her EM scaling E skill which players found useless before Version 3.0. Since Dendro reactions scale off of EM, Yae Miko shines in both Aggravate and Hyperbloom teams.

And all this without much change to her kit. Using a full EM build on her isn’t recommended as she still mainly scales off of ATK and CRIT. If you’re specifically using her in Dendro teams, then switching one of her artifacts to EM main stat is recommended. Otherwise, you’re left to compensate for one of her required stats from her artifact sub-stats.

Generally, it’s recommended for players to use a CRIT weapon like Widsith or Kagura’s Verity and get the ideal CRIT ratio through her artifact substats. This way you can have a decent CRIT ratio and still have one dedicated EM artifact.

Artifacts

The main sub-stats you’re looking for in her artifacts are mainly CRIT, ATK, EM and ER.  You can run an Electro DMG goblet on her and her helm can be either EM or CRIT depending on your sub-stats. As for her Sands- ATK% is recommended.

Her best artifact sets are close in terms of damage potential so the best way to decide which one to use is to see which one has the best, most balanced sub-stats for consistent overall DPS. Below we’ve listed her best artifact sets as of Version 3.1:

  • Thundering Fury
  • Gilded Dreams
  • Thundersoother

Thundersoother is generally not recommended if you’re mainly playing Hyperbloom teams. Gilded Dreams specifically caters to the Dendro meta- which means that without a Dendro teammate you won’t be using it at its full potential. The Thundering Fury is her overall best-in-slot due to Electro DMG bonus and CD reduction as she procs more reactions.

Weapons

Ideally, you’ll want a weapon that gives her either CRIT or EM, so keeping those in mind, here are her best options:

  • Kagura’s Verity
  • Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
  • The Widsith
  • Blackcliff Agate
  • Wandering Evenstar
  • Mappa Mare
  • Solar Pearl

Kagura’s Verity remains her best-in-slot even in the Dendro meta. Mappa Mare and Wandering Evenstar are weapons that wouldn’t usually suit her but in the Dendro meta they are viable options- though not the best. Among her 4-stars, The Widsith remains her best.

Teams

As for her teams, you can put her in both Hyperbloom teams or Aggravate teams. In Aggravate teams, she needs a second Electro unit to compensate for her energy needs and consistently trigger Aggravate. Her best Electro teammate in any team is Fischl due to her secondary support role as a battery- despite being a good off-field 4-star DPS herself.

Her best Dendro teammate is the Dendro Traveler due to his consistent and reliable off-field Dendro application with his long burst. As for a Hydro teammate for her Hyperbloom comps- Barbara or Kokomi are the best options due to their additional roles as a healer.

Her fourth slot is a flex unit. We recommend getting a shielder like Zhongli who won’t interrupt her reactions and still provide protection and prevent enemy interruption. You can also use Anemo units like Kazuha or Sucrose if you’re in Hyperbloom teams to pull up all the Dendro cores and enemies in one area for convenience.

In Version 3.2, Yae Miko has considerable pull value. She’s good enough to be considered a powerful meta unit despite her clunky gameplay purely due to her high-value DPS. She works amazingly in Dendro teams and since Dendro is the new meta, you won’t regret pulling for her.
