How To Beat The Ancient Goop Monster

The final boss appears after you finish all the chapters in the game. This battle is the end of the main story. Be patient, as you can only damage the boss at specific times when it’s vulnerable.

High Health Pool: The Ancient Goop Monster has a large amount of health and can drain yours quickly, especially on harder difficulties.

Primary Attacks:

  • Missile Cluster: Marks an area before impact. Stay alert and move out of the marked zone.
  • Shockwave: Spreads across almost the entire arena, so be ready to jump or dodge.
  • Minigun: Fires a steady stream of bullets; dodge them or use the Shield Gadget to block.
  • 360 Laser Beam: Creates a red circle on the ground. Avoid this danger zone to minimize damage.
  • Summoning Minions: As its health drops, it spawns mechanical enemies. Take them out quickly to prevent being overwhelmed.

Stun Phase Opportunity:

  • When its legs glow blue, attack all four legs. This will cause the boss to fall and enter a stunned phase.
  • During this phase, you can deal heavy damage. Look for an Elemental Drone Gadget in the arena if it drops it’s particularly effective while the boss is stunned.
  • Battle Duration: The boss will fall multiple times, making this a longer fight than others. Stay patient and make the most of each stun phase.
