Baldur’s Gate 3 is a role-playing game where players can play and choose between 12 classes and 11 races.  The game was developed and published by Larian Studios. This game is the third game in the Baldur’s Gate series and it continues to follow the dungeon and dragons theme like the previous games. During many quests and puzzles, players will be given many impact-heavy choices and players need to think about what to choose. One of those choices is whether to kill the Buthir or avoid it. This guide will show you how to Avoid Killing Buthir in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to Avoid Killing Buthir in BG3?

In order to avoid killing Buthir, players need to follow these steps:

  1. Players will be going through Blighted Village in the early game
  2. They will see a barn just north in the village (avoid the Barn)
  3. Players should not interact with the barn’s doors and simply avoid the confrontation.
  4. By doing this, players will not see what happens in the barn and avoid any choices/fight
  5. Which will lead to not killing Buthir in the fight
  6. If players mistakingly interact with the door, they will see Buthir and Grukkoh making love to each other.
  7. Then players need to make careful choices to make them leave in shame and not fight them.
  8. If players got into a fight with them, they can simply use spells which slow them down or distract them.

There is no reward for avoiding killing Buthir but there are some rewards if players kill them Diluted Oil of Sharpness and two Silver Ingots. (it’s up to the players to decide what to do: whether to avoid killing or kill them when they start to fight).
