We can confirm that there are 16 chapters in Evil West. The time it takes to complete each of the chapters varies. Some can be completed relatively quickly, while others can take time. One of the dev has confirmed on the Steam forum that the game will take anywhere from 8 to 15 hours to beat, depending on the difficulty and skill of the player. Here is what the dev said: “The game takes between 8 to 15 hours, depending on the difficulty you’re playing in :).”
Most players should be able to get all the achievements in the game when they are closer to 11 hours. Some highly skilled players may be able to beat the game in less than 8 hours, but on the plus side, the game has a New Game Plus mode, which means you can rerun the game with all skills unlocked and at the highest difficulty. Although the price seems a bit steep given the duration, the gameplay is a solid experience and worth a shot.
