Vanguard is closing on the release date and we are slowly getting to know more about the game mechanics. One of them is the Vanguard Clan in multiplayer. So, what is COD: Vanguard Clan? The Clan system allows you to play with your friends in a team as a clan and compete against other teams or clans. While the system has been introduced after a while and rebranded, a similar system existed in some older Call of Duty titles such as Modern Warfare, which has the Regiments system, Advanced Warfare, and Ghosts. Stick with the guide, if you want to know more about the Clan System in Vanguard.
Call of Duty: Vanguard Clan System Details
To start with, the possibility of a clan is not limited to friends or systems, meaning, you can create a clan even with strangers on any system. It also supports cross-gen that allows PS4 players to join a clan with PS5 players. As for the clan progression, it is similar to solo progression except for the reward which is earned as a group.
Individual progression is still a thing that will determine your rank. For the kills you make, you will gain XP and it will determine your rank, but there will also be a clan progression that unlocks unique emblems and rewards, even rewards related to the Battle-Pass. The rewards gained through the Clan progress will be for the entire group.
While we know quite a bit about the new system, we do not know everything about it. But, I guess we do not have to wait longer as the game is nearing release and the beta.
