There is something strange going on in the new planet of Penacony, where you can find certain NPCs who require some emotional assistance. Talking to them will introduce you to the new Clockwork: Emo Tuning feature. For this, you need to pick up the required emotional gear and hand them over to the NPC, and this in turn will help them fill in the gaps with their emotion. There are four types of gears to find, namely the Happy, Sad, Calm, or Angry Gears. Honkai Star Rail 2.0 quest requires you to find 15 gears in total. It includes 6 Happy Gear and 3 Sad, 3 Calm, and 3 Angry Gear each. In this guide, we will show you where to find all the gear, so you can complete the quest quickly.
Happy Gear Location 1
Investigate near the entrance at the above location to get the first happy gear in Hankoi Rail 2.0.
Sad Gear Location 1
Approach the 3 gentlemen near the bench with two with their hands on their heads and absorb emote to get the first Sad Gear.
Once that is done, start the mission “Evasion A Rose Forthcoming” and teleport to Oti Mall. Follow the marker and go and meet up with Cocona. When she asks “How may I assist you,” choose to Start the Clockwork. You can now use the Sad Gear you obtained earlier.
Calm Gear Location 1
To get the Calm Gear in Honkai Star Rail 2.0, go to the above location approach the nearby bench with two bottles, and choose to absorb emote.
Sad Gear Location 2
To get the second Sad Gear, you must go to the above location and approach the couple in front of the popcorn stall. Choose to absorb emote and let them complete their dialogue. With the Sad Gear, you will also get a new sticker – Sadie.
Happy Gear 2 Location
To get the second Happy Gear, you need to go to the location marked on the above map and listen in on the conversation between an adult sitting on a bench and a child standing in front of him.
Sad Gear Location 3
To get the third sad gear, you need to go to the above location, and you will see a weird-looking telephone. Interact with the telephone, and choose to Dial a Dreampeek Call. Let the dialogue complete, and you will get the Sad Gear. You will also get the Sound of Chaos sticker.
Calm Gear 2 Location
Go to the above location and approach the Salesman. Complete the dialogue and you will get the Calm Gear 2.
Happy Gear 3 Location
Go to the above location and interact with what looks like a letterbox near a water hydrant to get the Happy Gear 3. You will also get a new sticker Happie.
Happy Gear 4 Location
Go to the above location and you will find a little girl sitting on a cup-like chair. Interact with her and collect the Happy Gear.
Happy Gear 5 Location
Go to the above location and absorb the emote from the pompous man and female companion. Let their conversation end and you will get the Happy Gear 5.
Calm Gear 3 Location
The Calm Gear 3 can be found a few steps from the Happy Gear 5. A man and a child are talking near stacks of books. Go there and absorb emote to get the Cal Gear 3. You can check the above map for the exact location. You will also get the Calmie sticker.
Happy Gear 6 Location
Go to the Elderly Women in the above location to get the Happy Gear 6.
