Blade Character Build Guide
Blade is the latest 5-Star in the Honkai Star Rail, His banner started with the release of Version 1.2 and players can obtain him in the banner called A Lost Soul. Even though he is a Destruction Path character, he specialises in AoE damage and also consumes his HP. He is very Skill Point efficient and can be placed in most team which has a healer.
Lightcone recommendation:
- The Unreachable Side (limited gacha weapon): this is his signature light and provides the best damage
- A Secret Vow (4-Star): arguably the second-best lightcone for Blade as it really compliments the lower Hp than enemies.
These 2 are the best lightcone for him but there are many other lightcone like On the Fall of an Aeon (Herta’s Shop lightcone), Something Irreplaceable (Clara’s lightcone) and a few other 4-Star lightcone.
Relics Recommendation:
- Longevous Disciple: the latest relic set is the best slot relic set for Blade as it compliments the consumption of Hp and provides an 8% Crit rate in exchange for it.
2-piece: Increases Max HP by 12%.
4-pIece: When the wearer is hit or has their HP consumed by an ally, their CRIT Rate increases by 8% for 2 turn(s) and up to 2 stacks.
- Eagle of Twilight Line (Wind Set): this is the second-best relic set for Blade and provides a wind element bonus as it 2-piece effect and also provides an Action advancement after using an ultimate.
2-piece: Increases Wind DMG by 10%.
4-piece: After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
For the Ornaments:
- Inert Salsotto (World 6): Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the wearer’s Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15%.
- Rutilant Arena (World 7): Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, the wearer’s Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
Talent Priority: Basic Attack > Skill > Ultimate > Talent
As for his Eidolons:
- The E2 is the best stopping point as it provides Blade crit rate stacks.
- The other eidolons are good as well but the E2 is the best stopping point for most players.
- At E0, he is a good character as well.
- E6 and E4 provide better charge management and Hp boost respectively
Team Recommendations: (Blade, Healer (must), buffer and a sub-DPS/DPS)
- Blade, Pela/Asta, Natasha and another DPS like Dan Heng: this team is f2p friendly and provides good survivability to Blade as well.
- Blade, Silver Wolf, Bronya and Loucha: Arguably the best hypercarry team for Blade which provides many debuffs, heals and damage boosts as well.
NOTE: Having a Shielder in a Blade team is somewhat of a DPS loss as Blade requires to consume his HP to boost and deal Damage. With a shield, Blade won’t be able to do that. The only exception might be March 7th but Pela can be the replacement for that and Pela provides other utilities as well.
