To unlock the Salvage Yard in the Chop Shop DLC, you need to talk to Yusuf Amir. Once you have the DLC active, Yusuf will call you and hand you a business proposition. As his new partner, your job will be to collect cars, refurbish them, and sell them for a profit. But first you need to purchase the Salvage Yard. For that, make your way to the Maze Bank Foreclosures website on your in-game phone. Explore the Salvage Yards option, which can be found on the top right corner of the screen. You will get a list of locations where you can set up your Chop Shop, and the available locations and prices are listed below.

  • La Puerta – $2,690,000
  • Strawberry – $2,570,000
  • Murrieta Heights – $2,420,000
  • Shady Shores – $2,030,000
  • Paleto Bay – $1,620,000

You can also unlock upgrades like adding a tint or a tow truck. Below are all the upgrades and the cost for each of them

  • Tint – $75,000 – Customize color scheme of your shop
  • Get Trade Rates – $450,00 – Reduces costs for LS Customs repairs and Mors Mutual claims 
  • Tow Truck – $1,100,000 / $650,000 – Lets you complete Tow Truck Service jobs
  • Wall Safe – $750,000 – a secret safe that can store up to $250,000
  • Staff – $625,000 – Additional help for faster service
