After accepting the quest from the vendor, ensure to check the Messenger and collect the sample collection kits. Without these kits, you will not be able to collect the samples and will have to go back. Take the kits and put them in your safelock or container and then proceed with the task.

Collect avian tissue samples

To collect the avian tissue samples, you need to head south from the Elder’s House and the location and right up the coast. Check the above map for the exact location and the object you need to approach to collect the sample.

Collect ground samples from a mound of soil

To find the soil samples, you need to again go along the coastline to the above-highlighted location on the map. When you get to the location, you will notice a mound. Approach it and collect the samples.
