You won’t have to use Sprite Chests; you just need to fish your way around and visit lots of fishing spots for a chance at catching them. In this guide, we’ll show you the best fishing route to farm Gummy Sprites, where to find extra fishing gear, and when to extract your loot so you can collect as many sprites as possible in a single match.
How to Farm Gummy Sprites Fast in Fortnite
The quickest way is to go for the fishing holes instead of the Sprite Chests. The fishing holes will likely provide you with Gummy Sprites, which makes them one of the best farming techniques. As soon as the battle begins, use your map and move to the small green island that can be found at the top of the map. Land on the beach where there is a fishing barrel along with a yellow crane. Pick up the fishing rod from the barrel and start fishing at the nearby fishing spots.
Gummy Sprites Fishing Spots
Not every spot will reward you with a Gummy Sprite. Fish in all fishing spots at the current location and then move on. After the first batch of fishing spots is completed, make your way to the next batch of fishing spots by heading further into the interior of the map. Be sure to fish out every fishing spot, as you’ll end up collecting multiple Gummy Sprites within a short time.
Move ahead by following the shore until you find the area with the red shipping container and tents. There are additional fishing spots here, including one fishing barrel, and there’s a possibility that you may find a Harpoon Gun here, which is a lot quicker than using the fishing rod at fishing spots.
As you’ll be collecting many items, your inventory will become full soon enough, and at this point, head to the nearest Extraction Zone and extract your Gummy Sprites to keep them safe before continuing.
After extraction, go towards the large lake with the tree in the centre. In this lake, there are multiple fishing locations around the water, so make sure you fish at every single location. Keep moving ahead through this lake until you come to a bridge close to the lake. There will be more fishing locations around this bridge. Afterwards, move forward through the nearby forest area. At times, there are some secret fishing locations located below the wooden pathways and bridges, so make sure you look into such areas as well.
Move past the second bridge and follow the river. More fishing locations are available on both sides of the water, and an additional fishing barrel is located under a nearby roof in case your Harpoon Gun runs out of uses.
Make sure you fish at every location until you come to the end of the river, where you will have two final fishing locations in this route. By doing so, you will have better chances of getting maximum Gummy Sprites. After finishing this route, move to the Extraction Zone.
