You can play the game solo or team up with your mates, both versions are great. Users usually encounter the SkyUI error code 1 after installing or trying to launch the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE). - Right-click on the desktop shortcut or locate the file SKSE64 in C drive
- Select Properties
- Click on the Compatibility tab
- Check Run this program as an administrator
- Click Apply and OK.
Launch the program and check if the error message is still visible.
Fix 2: Install Skyrim Script Extender Correctly

- Download a fresh copy of SKSE from the official website
- Extract the file using WinRAR or any other software.
- Open the folder skse64_2_00_17
- Select the files:

- Copy the files and paste it in the location
C:/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim Special Edition
- Go back to the skse64_2_00_17 folder > Data > Scripts

- Now paste the copied files in the location (C represents the diver where the file is installed, it can vary depending on where you have saved the file)

- Now launch the game and check if the SkyUI error code 1 still appears.
