Multiplayer games have always had an appeal as it allows players to team up with friends and have a good time, but traditionally, all multiplayer games have issues. If you have these issues some solutions have helped other players. With some luck, these fixes can work to resolve the Helldivers 2 multiplayer not working for you as well.
Fix Helldivers 2 Matchmaking Not Working
If you are struggling with Helldivers 2 matchmaking, there are the best solutions you can try. The solutions have worked for users on all devices so give it a shot.
Disable Crossplay
Crossplay causes a lot of multiplayer issues, not just in Helldivers 2 but in other multiplayer games as well. You can disable the crossplay by following the below steps:
- Press Escape and go to the Options Menu
- In Gameplay, the second option is Crossplay – Turn it Off.
Keep Trying
Due to the large number of players who are reporting issues with the game’s matchmaking, there’s no doubt that there is a real issue with the game and its servers. However, persistence has paid off for many players including me. If I put it roughly one in four attempts gets me a game.
The game servers may be overburdened and due to this, the servers are misbehaving, which has happened with countless games in the past. These issues are usually resolved on their own within the first few days of launch as early enthusiasts leave the game.
