While exploring the ancient city of Litumnia, you will come across a strange fishlike monster hanging around the Clock Tower. His name is Bargniff, and has a mysterious proposition: solve three riddles, and it will share secrets about the universe.
To find Bargniff, you’ll need to search for it in three different places. After solving a riddle, Bargniff will move to a new location. To unlock the city of Litumnia, you must defeat a character named Zanni in battle, and then you have to go and speak with Pulcinella to unlock the gate. First Answer of Bargniff Riddle

The answer to the first riddle is a magical mask called the Piercing Wit Mask. Put on this mask and talk to Bargniff again to solve the riddle. You can get the Piercing Wit Mask by simply resting at a special place called a Reality Knot.
Bargniff can be found near the Clocktower, which is close to the Old Docks. After you solve the riddle, Bargniff will move to a different place.
Second Answer of Bargniff Riddle

To solve the second riddle, you’ll need to defeat a powerful enemy named Vermiglio in a monastery. After defeating Vermiglio, put on a mask you get from him and talk to Bargniff to solve the riddle.
To find Bargniff next, go to a place called Highborne Streets. Cross a bridge and climb some narrow stairs. Instead of taking the big staircase, go to the other side and climb down some more stairs. Keep walking past enemies until you find a gate. Jump down to the ledge next to the gate to find Bargniff.
Third Answer of Bargniff Riddle

To solve the third riddle, you’ll need to wear a mask called the Gondolier’s Mask. Unlike the other masks, you don’t get this one from a boss. Instead, you have to defeat many enemies called Gondoliers and collect 100 pieces of their masks.
You can find lots of Gondolier enemies near the Old Docks. How many mask pieces you get from them depends on how lucky your character is.
To find Bargniff for the third time, go to the Mines of Gratia. You can get there by taking a big elevator underground. Once inside the mines, jump down and go to the left. Ignore the enemies and defeat the Gondolier boss at the end. Bargniff should appear after you beat the boss.
After you put on the Gondolier’s Mask and talk to Bargniff again, he’ll tell you to ‘proceed.’ At first, it might be confusing, but you can now interact with a boat near him. This boat will take you to a secret place. This is how you can get to the very bottom of the mines and meet Litho, one of the gods.
