During the quests Spellbound And Sorcerer’s Appraisal, you have to locate Grimoires around various locations and retrieve them. If you pick up Trysha and Myrddin’s quests, then you will be out on a hunt to locate 5 Grimoires. The Grimoires you need to find are as follows
Fulminous Shield
Make your way to Melve and speak to a shopkeeper called Dudley. You can find him near the burnt houses. Speak to him to access his wares and purchase the Fulminous Shield for 5,000 Gold
Howling Blizzard and Nation’s Death Kneel
You can find both the books inside a chest deep within Waterfall Cave. The cave itself is located close to the Borderland Campground campsite. The chest is located in the Wight boss area, which is on the second level of the cave. Alternatively, you can also get the Howling Blizzard if you pick up Wendy’s quest in the Nameless Village. But to get the grimoire you need to trade in another grimoire, namely the Fulminous Shield. It is best to avoid this and rather face the perils inside Waterfall Cave. Also, the Nation’s Death Kneel can be located inside the Cenotaph in Ancient Battlefield. You can get here as part of the Tolled to Rest side quest, and also if you are looking for the Makeshift Vault Key to unlock the Vernworth Castle Vault
Towering Earth
Follow the questline called The Caged Magistrate and speak to Waldhar. Complete the quest and talk to him to receive the Towering Earth grimoire
Let There Be Light
The final book can be found inside Myrrdin’s house in Checkpoint Rest Town. You have to make it up to his room on the second floor via the balcony and not enter through the main entrance. If you are spotted, Myrrdin will attack you, so try to sneak in and out with the tome. It can be found resting on the table within the room
