Before you can go ahead with this achievement, you first need to get a camping kit and learn how to use the campfire. You can also find campfires around various POI, so if you don’t have a camping kit you can use the campfire there too. Once you settle into the camp, interact with the campfire to start cooking. You also need to collect various meat from hunting wild creatures. There are selected meat that drop from certain creatures, so you need to hunt specific animals and creatures to get specific meat types. Next, you can get preserved or rotten meat by storing them in your inventory or any storage at any inn. Storing meat at the storage will give you preserved meat, while keeping them in inventory will give you rotten meat. You need to get certain meat types and take it to the campfire to cook it.
Below are all the grilled meat you need to collect to unlock the Barbecue Maister achievement
- Scrag of Beast – Get from killing ogres, boars, and other beasts
- Aged Scrag of Beast – Take Scrag of Beast and keep it in your inventory for 1 day
- Rotten Scrag of Beast – Keep Scrag of Beast in your inventory for several days
- Dried Meat – Combine 2x Aged Scrag of Beast or complete Culling Requests
- Beast Steak – Kill wolverine creatures that have two health bars. Some can be spotted along the west path of Vernworth. Can be dropped from boards and deers as well
- Aged Beast Steak – Keep Beast Steak in your inventory for a day
- Rotten Beast Steak – Keep Beast Steak in your inventory for several days.
- Exquisite Dried Meat – Combine 2x Aged Beast Steak
Take all the above meat types to the campfire and cook it to get grilled meat of various kinds. If you complete it you can unlock the Barbecue Maister achievement in Dragon’s Dogma 2
