How to start The Sea of Blood Quest
When you first arrive in Treviso, you’ll see a town under occupation, not ravaged like the blight-stricken village from Shadows Crossing, but firmly held by the Antaam. For now, follow Teia to the Cantori Diamond, where you’ll be introduced to the Antivan Crows. They’ll give you some details about a potential recruit, along with a lead on his whereabouts. It seems he’s being held in the Ossuary, a Venatori stronghold beneath the sea. Follow Illario to the boat, and together you’ll set off to find the infamous Demon of Vyrantium. This is how you start the Sea of Blood quest.
Sea of Blood Quest Illario and Lucanis Choice Guide
As you complete the quest you will be given the choices between Illario and Lucanis. Your choices will determine your approval with your teammates. It’s nice to mention that there is only one correct answer for each question among your teammates. These are the following answers to those questions.
If you have chosen “His actions are unforgivable,” Illario will be jailed, and Lucanis will gain the following abilities:
- Veilguard Skill – Demon of Defiance: +50% increased critical damage and detonation damage for Lucanis. Abilities deal 25% increased damage to enemy targets under any debuff.
- Heroic Armor – Crow’s Tenacity : Ability damage is raised to 134%. The ability detonates, leaving all enemies hit within its area of effect staggered. For each additional enemy affected, it applies a 50% stagger buff.
If you choose to show mercy, you’ll receive the following bonuses:
- Veilguard Skill – Demon of Rebellion: Increases your Resistance by 10%, and boosts the party’s Barrier damage by 25%.
- Heroic Armor – Crow’s Poise: Grants 134% bonus ability damage. When you detonate an overwhelmed enemy, it triggers a second detonation on a nearby overwhelmed enemy. Enemies near this second explosion become more susceptible to necrotic damage.
