Fortunately, For the King 2 does support co-op multiplayer, and you can find friends online and locally. PC players can team up and add 3 more players, making it a total four player team. To add, offline couch co-op is also supported, but each player should use their own controllers to play. 

To start playing For the King 2 with friends, there are different ways to do this. To play offline co-op, you need to plug in your individual controllers first. Then, once you load into the game, select the local co-op mode in the Campaign menu. For online multiplayer, you can select the multiplayer menu and select the Create an Adventure option. You will revive a unique code that you can share with your friends to help them join your server. You can also manually add them by heading into your Steam friend list, right click their name, and select the invite button. 

Does For the King 2 Have Crossplay?

For now, there is no crossplay support, but there are plans to launch the game on consoles by the coming year. Hopefully after the devs have integrated it there might be a chance to crossplay with players on different gaming systems.
