Wandering Death Location in Diablo 4

There are four locations where you can spot the Wandering Death. You can either head over to Dry Steppes, Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, or Hawezar to find it. Below are the places where you can find Wandering Death

  • Saraan Caldera in Dry Steppes
  • The Crucible in Fractured Peaks
  • Caen Adar in Scosglen
  • Fields of Desecration in Hawezar.

You will get notified 15 mins before the boss spawns, so you will get enough time to head over to the above areas. You need to complete the main campaign to get the notification. If you haven’t completed it yet, then you have to directly make your way over to find the boss. The boss spawns randomly every 6 hours and rotates with the other two World Bosses. If you do not find the Wandering Death after 6 hours in the mentioned locations, then you have to wait and check again.

Wandering Death All Attacks and Moves in Diablo 4

The Wandering Death has only a few powerful killer moves, and you have to keep an eye out for them.

  • Death Beam – Keep an eye out for the two beams that come out of his hand. This multiplies as his health depletes. Avoid the beams by staying between them.
  • Bone Rake – You will notice discoloration on the ground, and you have to move away from them. If you don’t you will get pulled underground by two or more hooks that will rake the ground.
  • Death Pound – The Wandering Death will pound the ground behind and in front of it several times, pushing out waves of spiked earth. Run as far away as possible when you see this move
  • Bone Prison – A crater will appear that will trap you and explode. If you see one, avoid it by running. If you are trapped, try your best to break out of it using powerful attacks.

If you manage to avoid the moves mentioned above, you won’t have to worry much about death or being killed. The two other moves that won’t deal as much damage are the Bone Vortex and the Shockwave. The Bone Vortex will spawn up to 3 or more tornadoes, and those can be quickly dodged. The Shockwave will make the Wandering Death release a blast from its body, pushing you back. All the above moves will multiply and amplify every time its health starts depleting.

How to Beat Wandering Death in Diablo 4

Any crowd control attacks like Stun, Knockback, and Freeze can help fill up the Wandering Death’s stagger bar. Once the stagger bar is filled, the Wandering Death will be stunned for a few seconds. Use this time to punch in a couple of moves. During the time it is stunned, it will spawn two Trapped Souls. Kill them quickly before you tackle the boss. After that, rinse and repeat the process till the boss is down. Be sure to carry plenty of health potions to heal. If you find the task impossible, you can always lower the World Tier to get an easier fight.
