Update 10 September: There is maintenance scheduled for today starting at 06:00 AM PDT=(-7 UTC). The maintenance will last 3.5 hours. The servers will go down for the rollout of Update 8.0.5.4. Here is when the maintenance starts in different regions around the world.

Update 27 August 2024: Destiny 2 servers are being taken down to roll out patch 8.0.5.3. The maintenance has begun and will end at 10:00 AM PDT. More on the patch notes at Patch Crazy.

Update 13 August 2024: Bungie is investigating general issues preventing players from signing in from Destiny 2. Stay tuned for updates.

Update 13 August, 2024: The Destiny 2 servers will go down for maintenance on 13 August at 6:45 AM PDT. The servers will be back online at 10 AM with the latest Update 8.0.5.1 patch notes.


Tuesday, August 06, 2024 – Maintenance

Update 06 August, 2024: Servers are now online. If you have issues, try resetting the console.
Update 06 August, 2024: Destiny 2 servers are down for maintenance starting on 6th August at 6:45 AM PDT (-7 UTC). The servers will be back online at 10 AM PDT. Background maintenance will continue until 12 PM  PDT. The maintenance is for the rollout of Update 8.0.5.


Update 14 July, 2024: Destiny 2 is currently down on Xbox. User may be getting the error 0x87dd0033.

Bungie’s Response- “We’re aware of issues affecting players logging into Destiny 2 and Destiny 1 across Microsoft platforms.”
