Dead by Daylight is usually free from mass service outages, but since the past few days users have been reporting all kinds of issue in the game. One of the main issues is the Dead by Daylight Can’t Connect to Store Error. When players log into the game, they are greeted with this error and can’t play the game. At the time, the issue seems to be affecting only PlayStation users, both PS4 and PS5. Here is all there is to know about the issue.
Dead by Daylight Can’t Connect to Store Error
As mentioned earlier, the error is mainly affecting players on PS4 and PS5, but the PlayStation servers are not at fault as all other games on the PSN are running fine and there are no reports of downtime or maintenance of the PSN servers. The problem lies with the game as acknowledged by the devs on their Twitter on August 14 02:00 PM PDT. They said:
“The team is currently investigating reports of an outage affecting some platforms, and we will keep monitoring the situation. Thank you for your patience!”
The issue was quickly resolved and the error went away, but since the last few hours (05:00AM PDT), the servers have been experiencing issues. The devs have released a statement few minutes back.
So, the issue is with the game servers and not a fault on your end. Also, a large number of players are affected by this. So, the resolution should arrive any minute now. There is nothing you can do on your end to fix the issue. Once the issue has been resolved, reset or reboot your device and the game should work.
It’s now 2pm August 15th and still getting that message. It wasn’t doing that late last night at all. When will this be fixed if it’s not fixed soon all users that bought the premium rift track need some compensation this is cutting into us being able to complete it before it ends! So some auric cells in return or some completed premium rift.
