Should You Side With Dex or Evelyn
Early in the new main campaign, players will be making the choice of whether to side with the new hotshot fixer, Dexter DeShawn, or the client Evelyn Parker.
Dexter DwShawn also called Dex is a legendary fixer in the night city. He has made his name by arranging a wealth of high-paying gigs. Evelyn Parker is employed in the sex trade but with her high-profile customers, she can pull some big strings in the night city.
If players decide to Side with Dexter, they will have to choose the option “No way, Dex trusts me”. After choosing the option Dex will start explaining the normal offers he makes to new recruits (base 30% of the cut). If V decide to reveal that Evelyn wants to cut Dex out of the deal, he’ll award the duo with 40% of the profits. If the player decides to keep the information hidden, they will get 35% of the profit.
If players decide to Side with Evelyn, they need to choose the option “I’ll think about it”. Siding with her will make players betray the best Fixer in the night city but it is not sure if Dex will give us the cut from the profit.
The options are pretty different but players should choose whatever they feel like it because the choice doesn’t matter too much. Either way, Dex will backstab both V and Jackie to get all the money. So either the options become the same with players getting nothing.
