To start clearing up the trash from the ocean floor, you need to learn how to dive. Marine Biologist Ling is the apt person to talk to and get this quest. Next, you will unlock further quests after learning how to dive, and one of them is to activate Solar Orbs. These orbs can be found buried under the trash found on the ocean bed, so you need to use your sickle to clear up the debris. Any activity that is done underwater will take up a lot of stamina, so you should come packed with goodies before you head down. You will also be accompanied by Kible, Ling’s underwater robot companion. Kible will inform you when it is time to leave or if your stamina is too low to continue.
Once you activate these solar orbs, it will unlock the stone structure that will in turn push out a beam to the center of the area. In the middle, a pillar will arise, which will effectively cleanse the ocean of all impurities and restore the coral reefs. There are several solar orbs to find and activate across the ocean, and the more areas you unlock, the more of the ocean you can discover.
