Black Ops Cold War Season 5 brought a few new weapons to the game including the Marshal on 18th, TEC-9, and EM2 with the launch of the new Season. While the TEC-9 is currently dominating the game with it being too overpowered and would probably receive a nerf in the upcoming days, there is an issue with the Marshal. The Black Ops Cold War Marshal Dragon’s Breath attachment is not working when the gun is dual-wielded.
The Marshal is a pistol; hence, a single-handed weapon, so players would want to wield two at a time, but doing so triggers a bug that disables the Dragon’s Breath rounds, the gun’s main attraction, and makes the weapon absolutely useless.
Ideally, you should be able to use the attachments with the weapon and have two pistols in each hand, but the attachment does not work when the weapon is dual-wielded.
The good news is this is not something that was pre-thought and is in fact a bug with the game that Treyarch has acknowledged in a Tweet. They have assured that a fix is in the works, but there is no ETA on when it will arrive.
With a limited 3 shots per round and the ability to only wield one weapon at a time, the Marshal at its current state is a liability that can cost players in a competitive game. While having double the rounds on a single weapon would be great as players request, getting the Dragon’s Breath Attachment working would be even better.
As the Black Ops Cold War Marshal Dragon’s Breath attachment not working bug has been acknowledged by the developers, we can expect the weapon to be fixed in the next patch, if not earlier. You can keep track of the progress of the fix on the game’s Trello. We will also keep an eye on the station and update when something new emerges.
