First, you need to locate and defeat the Lantern Wardens in the game. There are 9 wardens located all over Chapter 3. You also need to note that you have to defeat the Lantern Wardens before you meet Captain Wise Voice, who you will encounter as part of the Prisoner’s quest in Chapter 3 as well. The curse within Pagoda Realm needs to be active so the Lantern Wardens will appear, and you will know if the curse is active if you receive an active HP debuff.

Also, the Wardens will only appear if the Destined One reaches a beguiled state, where the eyes turn red, enabling them to see the Wardens. You need to wait at the specified locations mentioned below where the Wardens will spawn and wait for your eyes to turn red to see them

Below are the locations on where you can meet all the Lantern Wardens

Lantern Warden #1 and #2 Location – Pagoda Realm > Lower Pagoda. Just travel down the path in front of the shrine to find both the Lantern Wardens
Lantern Warden #3 and #4 Location – Pagoda Realm > Lower Pagoda. Make your way through the grill gate beside the shrine and turn right. Follow the path to the very end and exit out the right side gate. Turn left and down the path is Lantern Wardens #3 and #4
Lantern Warden #5, #6, #7, #8 Location – Pagoda Realm > Upper Pagoda. From the shrine turn left to find the fifth Lantern Warden. Keep going down the path to find the 6th, 7th, and 8th ones as well
Lantern Warden #9 Location – Pagoda Realm > Mani Wheel. Head up the stairs in front of the shrine and follow the path straight ahead. At the end of the path is a cliff edge you can jump off and land below. Jump down one more time and continue down the path to find the last Lantern Warden

Upon defeating all the Lantern Wardens, you can unlock the Auspicious Lantern Curio item. This item offers the following effect:” Inflicts chants-beguiled effect to the bearer in Cloud Step; Moderately increases Attack, but massively reduces Maximum Health.“
